ASUS says it has been delivering products for gamers and enthusiasts for many years now, under its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand. As the industry evolved, so too did its products. The ROG line has a reputation for engineering quality designed to deliver high performance and technology to gaming enthusiasts.
Yet, ASUS sees a niche where first-time DIYers are looking for components at a more affordable price, wanting an easy experience to build a PC, looking to get a complete system with cohesive aesthetics and finding a sweet spot between price and performance.
Here’s where Tuf Gaming comes in, ASUS’ new brand, unveiled on Monday at COMPUTEX 2018.

ASUS also announced the ROG Delta, a quad-DAC gaming headset with RGB lighting compatible with the ASUS Aura Sync system, and with a type-C connector.
This connector means the headset is fully compatible with PCs, smartphones, consoles and the Nintendo Switch. Gamers no longer need more than one headset for different occasions, with the ROG Delta working across all these devices. It includes a USB 2.0 converter in the box for full compatibility.
The ROG Delta minimises noise and allows precision gamers to pick up where their enemies are at all times. ASUS says it reaches 127Db, which is unprecedented for gaming headsets, via it’s built-in ESS 9218 quad-DAC. ASUS leveraged its research and development expertise to overcome PCB routing difficulties in the ear cups.
The headset also features an airtight chamber and exclusive ASUS Essence drivers with audio signal diversion technology design to further improve sound quality.
ROG Delta includes circular-rainbow RGB lighting effects for unique gaming style. It is equipped with lightweight, D-shaped ear cushions that provide a better fit than traditional ear cushions for improved comfort and no ear fatigue after long periods of use.
At the time of writing pricing and availability for the ROG Delta within Australia is not yet confirmed.
