Going white from an iPad 2 shock?

By

When someone is shocked, they're said to 'go white' in the face, but the real shock might be that the iPad 2, unlike the iPhone 4, might finally be going white - the original iDevice colour.

After the disappointment of the iPhone 4 never actually appearing in white, at least in official form, Apple is now being rumoured to be readying a 'white' version of the iPad 2, although it appears that only the bezel will be white.

Currently, the iPad's bezel is black, and supposed photos of the iPad 2 show it also sports a black bezel.

But now there's suspicion that Apple is set to release a white iPad 2, with a photo from 9to5Mac showing a white bezel (around the digitizer screen), although it appears to be a spare part from those Shenzen shenaniganers and is clearly not yet any form of official confirmation.

Unfortunately, there's no way to truly confirm whether Apple's going white until the iPad 2 launches, but thankfully, that launch date is heavily expected to be only a couple of days away on March 2.

Of course, March 2 might not bring confirmation, because Apple may well be keeping confirmation for any white model under wraps for some future time.

The crunchy kingdom does like surprises, after all, but who knows? It might end up being a 'one more thing', another crunchy kingdom favourite.

It would also be a return to Apple's original iDevice colour, white, with white not officially seen since the iPhone 3GS came in two colours.

To conclude'¦ the rumour is out, so don't be going white with shock if this rumour turns out to be true!
