New Humble Indie deal a bastion of good value

By
Bastion Bastion

The good people over at Humble Indie Bundle have come up with a new plan to take your money, and the good news is it’s still for charity.

The new Humble Bundle Weekly sale allows gamers to pick up one selected indie title every week for a tiny price.

And they’re kicking it off with none other than Bastion, Supergiant’s Action RPG released back in 2011 for Xbox Live and PC and you can now get it for as low as one dollar.

For that dollar users receive both a DRM-free copy of the game and a Steam key.

If you beat the average, which is currently at $2.63, you get the soundtrack, Bastion sheet music, a Bastion digital art pack and iPhone/Android ringtones.

If you pay $25 or more you get a Bastion bandana (a real-life one, no less), Bastion Original Soundtrack CD, a postcard and postcard from Supergiant’s next game Transistor.
C
Bastion itself was a pretty big hit upon its release, garnering an 86% on Metacritic and reaching over 1.7 million in sales.

Below is the statement from the Humble team indicating exactly how much bang you get for your buck.

One captivating game to rock your week. The Humble Weekly Sale features a new deal every Tuesday. Be sure to jump on this amazing offer before it’s gone! This week, pay what you want to get Bastion!

Pay what you want and get cool stuff. Name your price and get epic content! For any amount you can get Bastion, DRM-free. Pay $1 or more and also get a Steam key. Pay over the average and get awesome digital bonuses including the original soundtrack, ringtones, sheet music, and a never-before-released digital art pack! And if you pay $25 or more, get some awesome physical merchandise including a Bastion bandana, original soundtrack CD, and a postcard for Supergiant’s newly-announced game, Transistor!

Cross-platform and DRM-free. Bastion is ready to rock for Windows, Mac, and Linux (system requirements here), DRM-free and optionally available on Steam.

Support vital charities. Choose how your purchase is divided: between the developer, the Child’s Play Charity, or the Electronic Frontier Foundation. And if you like this weekly sale, a tip to Humble Bundle would be greatly appreciated!
