For the first time, Guitar hero features a wireless controller.  For Wii, PS3, Xbox 360 this will be the all black Gibson Les Paul, for the PS2 a wired Gibson Kramer Striker will be your controller.

The Wii controller will have a housing to snap the Wii-mote into it, allowing the use of bluetooth wireless as well as the accelerometer built into the Wii-mote.

The Guitar controllers also feature detachable necks for carting over to mates houses for video game jam sessions.

Boss battles against guitar greats such as Slash, Tom Morello and Bret Michaels.  Defeat these legends to unlock them as playable characters

A new Battle Power sequence challenge tasking players with hitting the correct notes in a time frame to power up attacks during the boss battles.

The online experience is now here with Guitar Hero, go head to head around the world or join others for a co-op attempt at some of the harder riffs.
