WASHINGTON, DC - Metalogix Software, the trusted provider of content lifecycle management solutions for Microsoft® SharePoint®, Exchange® and Cloud platforms, today announced that it has been selected by Microsoft as a Managed Partner in the High Potential ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Group. Metalogix is a Microsoft Gold ISV Partner and this latest distinction will serve to strengthen the growing partnership between Metalogix and Microsoft.

'On behalf of our 6,000 customers and valued partners, we are grateful to be named a Managed Partner in Microsoft's High Potential ISV Group. This is further recognition of the trusted, high-quality SharePoint management solutions we provide,' said Steven Murphy, CEO, Metalogix. 'Becoming part of the High Potential ISV Group will be a tremendous boost to our recent growth and focus on expanding our partner program. This is acknowledgement of our ten-year commitment to the SharePoint platform and support of its published standards, as evidenced by being a Microsoft approved vendor for migrating content to Office 365 Dedicated. At this year's Microsoft SharePoint Conference, Metalogix announced powerful performance enhancements to its suite of SharePoint solutions. In November, Metalogix will release Migration Manager for SharePoint 5.0 - currently in customer beta testing - that will radically increase the speed of high-fidelity SharePoint upgrades by moving more than 500GB of data per day. Metalogix has also announced increased capabilities with StoragePoint, including improved job timing automation that reduces Binary Large Objects (BLOB) externalization processing time up to 50%.

As part of a continued effort to provide the best solutions to meet the operational needs of organizations, the Metalogix Partner Program offers businesses the opportunity to partner with Metalogix to maximize results for both parties. The program aims to build relationships between Metalogix and its partners by providing joint business planning and funding as well as access to Metalogix technical, sales and marketing resources.

'We are constantly looking for ways to improve our partner relationships, whether that is with Microsoft or other software vendors,' said Bonnie Donovan, vice president of partner & strategic alliance program, Metalogix. 'Being named a Managed Partner in the High Potential ISV Group is another positive step forward for Metalogix and the evolution of the Metalogix Partner Program. Our goal is to provide the best-of-breed SharePoint, Exchange and Cloud solutions for our customers and build successful business relationships with our partners.'

Now’s the Time for 400G Migration

The optical fibre community is anxiously awaiting the benefits that 400G capacity per wavelength will bring to existing and future fibre optic networks.

Nearly every business wants to leverage the latest in digital offerings to remain competitive in their respective markets and to provide support for fast and ever-increasing demands for data capacity. 400G is the answer.

The foundation of optical networking infrastructure includes coherent optical transceivers and digital signal processing (DSP), mux/demux, ROADM, and optical amplifiers, all of which must be able to support 400G capacity.

With today’s proprietary power-hungry and high cost transceivers and DSP, how is migration to 400G networks going to be a viable option?

PacketLight's next-generation standardised solutions may be the answer. Click below to read the full article.
