Analytics8 continues expansions

Analytics8 continues to expand, the Australian founded Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing consulting company, has continued to expand its capabilities and practice over recent times and now has over 55 staff across its Sydney, Melbourne and US operations.

To accommodate this expansion they have made 2 additional senior management appointments. Anthony Larratt - Practice Manager, has been appointed to run and expand on the IBM Information Management and Business Analytics team. Anthony comes to Analytics8 with 15 years experiences in BI, DW and services management with previous roles at IBM Initiate, MicroStrategy and IBM Cognos.

Simon Maizels has been appointed as Practice Manager running the SAP BO and Informatica team. Simon comes to Analytics8 with extensive retail industry knowledge based on his previous role at IGA as the National Manager for Strategic Intelligence, Metcash as the DW/BI and Retail Technology Program Manager and Nortel Networks as a Technical Architect and Project Manager.

Simon and Anthony's appointments are in line with the growth strategy for Analytics8 and complements the appointment at the start of 2010 of Shrav Malkani as Practice Manager for Oracle BI.

Hedde Schuitemaker, the GM for Analytics8 in Australia says that the appointment of the practice managers positions Analytics8 well to meet its growth objectives in Australia and will allow the company to develop deeper, business focused relationships with its customers.

Analytics8 also continues to expand in the US with the opening of a second office in Raleigh, NC.
