Over the past three months, AAM has played a vital role in responding to natural disaster events in Australia.
AAM has worked closely with Governments of Queensland and Victoria, as well as Brisbane City Council in pre and post disaster response for the Brisbane and Victorian floods.
More recently, the Queensland State Government have enlisted AAM's help in creating an online record of the devastation and reconstruction generated by the floods and Cyclone Yasi in their new website for the Queensland Reconstruction Authority:
The website will feature aerial imagery of the devastation across Queensland and will be used as a critical tool for the public in future natural disasters.
AAM has just released a new video which briefly reports their involvement in this project and other Australian disasters. The video features a recent AAM appearance on SBS World News. To supplement the video, AAM have also released a full news article on their famous Brisbane flood model simulations, viewed by the world in the hours leading up to the Brisbane flood crisis.
