Vodafone has a special data offer for new and existing prepaid customers, which it unsurprisingly says is ‘just in time for Christmas.’
Noting it is a ‘limited time’ offer, Vodafone says its ‘Prepaid Combo customers who connect or recharge on the $40 (or higher) Combo product before 26 January 2016 and continue to recharge each time before their expiry date on the $40 (or higher) Combo will receive a bonus 2GB of data every time they top-up their account until 25/01/17.’
This means the $40 Combo recharger will get 5GB of data instead of 3GB, which Vodafone says is a ‘massive 26GB of bonus data spread across 13 recharges over the next 12 months.’
The data bonus is in addition to the existing features of the Vodafone Prepaid Combo recharges which includes ‘infinite standard national calls and TXT, and standard international minutes to selected countries or unlimited international calls to 10 countries depending on your recharge value.’

General Manager of Products, Stephen Smyth talked up Vodafone’s obvious valuing of ‘its customers,’ and said “We know how much our customers enjoy our fast 4G speeds, and we thought what better way to delight them than with a data boost.”
Smyth characterised the bonus data as not just about ‘about incentivising people to switch, but rewarding customers for choosing Vodafone every time they recharge.’
“Telcos are often accused of only offering the best deals to new customers, and this is something we want to change. This offer is proof in the pudding that you don’t have to be a new customer to score a great offer at Vodafone,” said Smyth.
“We want our customers to know we value their loyalty, every time they recharge,” he concluded.
Vodafone says its ‘Prepaid Combo bonus data is available until January 25, 2017, for customers who recharge or sign-up to $40, $50 or $60 Combo on or before Jan 26, 2016. To be eligible for a bonus for a year, customers must recharge before their expiry date and on eligible recharges.’
