Optus seals 7-year managed services deal with Suncorp Featured

By

Optus has sealed a seven-year managed-services deal with the Suncorp Group to manage the Queensland-based company’s ICT services.

Under the whole-of-business agreement, Suncorp will transition its ICT services to Optus’ management over the next two years, including voice, contact centre, data networks, and international and transaction services.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Optus Business Managing Director John Paitaridis said the agreement will provide Suncorp with the flexibility to focus on customer experience advancements and “drive strategy, innovation and business growth, whilst Optus manage Suncorp’s mission critical network services and ICT environment to provide optimal efficiency and performance”.

“We are delighted to secure this new managed services agreement with Suncorp and look forward to the contribution we can make to their business over the next seven years.

“The relationship demonstrates the benefits Optus offers to our customers in Australia and across Asia Pacific, and is a proof point of our end-to-end ICT capabilities and our leadership in regional managed services.”
