Huawei: Telecom Equipment Vendor of the Year at APAC ICT Awards

For a third consecutive year, Huawei has been bestowed with the Telecom Equipment Vendor of the Year title at the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2016.

Committed to its vision of building a "Better Connected World", Huawei is clearly pleased to have yet again won the Telecom Equipment Vendor of the Year award at the Frost & Sullivan APAC ICT Awards for 2016, held in Singapore.

The company proudly boasts that it works "closely with ecosystem partners" to drive "digital transformation which enhances interconnectivity and interactivity – between people and people, people and things, and things and things".

Huawei says it does this "to spark infinite opportunities and potentials for everyone everywhere and to move the world forward".

Avinash Sachdeva, Frost & Sullivan’s APAC senior industry analyst, for telecoms and digital transformation practice, said: “Huawei APAC business continued its momentum from its large scale 4G LTE network deployments across the region, specifically in China.

“The business growth was also supported by its many new multi-year network infrastructure projects in Indonesia, India, the Philippines and Thailand.

“During the past year, Huawei collaborated with industry partners to innovate and drive technological leadership.

“Its comprehensive and competitive product portfolio helped multiple leading operators smoothly evolve their networks and maximise the network efficiency, meeting the changing needs of their customers," said Sachdeva.
