ALDImobile launching data upgrades to five of its mobile plans from 14 August 2019

If you want more byte for your buck, then ALDImobile is hoping to tempt you into switching across to its Telstra-powered network.

Ok, so ALDImobile was offering a series of bonus data inclusions between 10 July and 13 August 2019 on top of the standard data inclusions, but the MVNO is replacing these with increased standard data allocations

Whereas the last month of data inclusions plus a bonus were as follows, you can see that the increases to the regular data plans are most welcome, because bonus periods run out, while standard data inclusions are forever - until they're increased, of course!

So, what are the new plans, and how do they compare to the old?

Well, you can see all the new plans here from 14 August, and because it is 13 August as I type, anyone reading this on the 13th won't see the new plans yet.

The previous S plan for $15 gave you 2.5Gb of data, including "continuous data rollover" plus 1GB bonus data.

  • The new S plan from 14 August now includes 3GB of data as standard, including data rollover.

The previous L plan for $25 gave you 14GB with data rollover, and 6GB bonus data.

  • The new L plan from 14 August now includes 18GB of data as standard, including data rollover.

The previous XL plan for $35 gave you 26GB with data rollover, and 15GB bonus data.

  • The new XL plan from 14 August now includes 35GB data as standard, including data rollover.

The previous XXL plan for $45 gave you 37GB with data rollover, with 20GB bonus data.

  • The new XXL plan from 14 August now includes 48GB data as standard, including data rollover.

The previous Jumbo plan for $55 gave you 48GB with data rollover, with 25GB bonus data.

  • The new Jumbo plan from 14 August now includes 60GB data as standard, including data rollover.

The S, L, XL, XXL and Jumbo plans all include unlimited calls and text in Australia, and are all the same price as before.

The L, XL, XXL and Jumbo plans also include the same amounts of unlimited calls to 15 selected countries and 100, 200, 300 and 400 minutes respectively to 35 selected countries.

Those four plans also get unlimited SMS to 15 selected countries and 50 SMS to 35 selected countries.

An infographic of the new plans is below, and once 14 August rolls around, which is likely when you'll be reading this, it will all be live at the ALDImobile website

Security requirements such as confidentiality, integrity and authentication have become mandatory in most industries.

Data encryption methods previously used only by military and intelligence services have become common practice in all data transfer networks across all platforms, in all industries where information is sensitive and vital (financial and government institutions, critical infrastructure, data centres, and service providers).
