Squiz gets government guernsey

Sydney-based Web content management provider Squiz has gained a place on the Australian Government Information Management Office's DCaaS Multi-Use List.

Squiz offers a range of content management and analytics services. Inclusion on the Australian Government Information Management Office's DCaaS Multi-Use List makes it easier for federal departments to use these services.

The company's infrastructure is all within Australia, with centres in the ACT, New South Wales and Victoria, with a carrier-grade network and high availability.

“We are delighted that our Squiz Cloud offering has been recognised by the Australian Government for inclusion on this public sector multi‑use list," said Squiz's national hosting manager Jacob Gardiner.

"Participation in this initiative will provide Australian government agencies with broad exposure to our cloud services, allowing departments to become better acquainted with our technology and its very strong value proposition."

Squiz customers include almost half of Australia's universities, Credit Union Australia, and Westminster Abbey.

Other suppliers added to the DCaaS Multi Use List this month are AAPT, Aptira, CommsNet Group, CSC Australia, Data#3, Dimension Data Australia, eBMS, Holocentric, Hostworks, Link Digital, Oriel Technologies, PreviousNext, and VMvault.

The next round of applications for inclusion closes on 14 February 2013.
