Primus' Australian business has turned in a solid performance on several fronts, despite reduced revenue in the fourth quarter of last year, and is a markedly changed organisation that has 'firmed its mark on the Australian marketplace in the last eight months,' according to the company's Aussie chief, Tom Mazerski.
Primus Telecom has won a contract from energy retailer Australian Power & Gas (ASX: APK) to provide an Australia-wide voice and data network.
Australian shoe retailer Payless Shoes has contracted Primus Telecom to provide an integrated voice and data network, including a network based EFTPOS and hosted services for its 232 stores and Sydney head office under a three year deal valued at $1m.
