Yahoo7 has great line up for Vivid Ideas Mobile Marketing Event – June 10

By

Some of the industry's best marketing minds from Facebook, TRIBE, The Iconic, Unlockd, and GroupM will come together to explore the future of mobile marketing.

Titled ‘Marketing in the age of mobile’ this event is for digital marketers, start-up founders, growth hackers, mobile app developers, media agency professionals, community managers, user experience designers and brand managers will find a huge amount of value in attending. Tickets are from A$30. It is being held on 10 June at the Museum of Contemporary Art Terrace.

Caroline Casey, Yahoo7’s Director of Product and Audience, will lead the morning’s keynote address exploring the future of mobile, revealing Yahoo7's latest research on mobile trends and consumer insights. This will be followed by keynotes from Jason Juma-Ross, Head of Technology, Entertainment & Communications at Facebook Australia and Jules Lund, TV and radio host and Founder of TRIBE.

Casey said, "Australians are spending more time-consuming content, connecting with friends, purchasing products and conducting business on mobile than any other device. The rich audience data we now have access to provides invaluable insight into audience behaviours; the challenge for brands is now to understand how to best use these insights to market their service or product in a way that adds value to their users' needs and habits."

Michael Correa, Head of Partnerships & Product ANZ, QT Mobile, and event MC said, "Vivid Sydney's decision to devote a half day workshop to the importance of mobile marketing indicates the growing relevancy of the device and the lack of understanding about how to use it effectively. Consumers are incredibly invested in their mobile experience, so it's our challenge as media professional to ensure the technology and creativity driving mobile campaigns add value to our audiences' daily habits.”

The keynote presentations will be followed by a panel of industry experts who will explore the future of mobile marketing and discuss how to capitalise fully on everything from micro-moments to utility apps, to making mobile ad units work for brands. The program will provide invaluable insights for digital marketers, start-up founders, growth hackers, mobile app developers, media agency professionals, community managers, user experience designers and brand managers alike.

The full line-up of speakers includes:

  • Jason Juma-Ross, Head of Technology, Entertainment & Communications at Facebook Australia
  • Jules Lund, TV and radio host and Founder of TRIBE
  • Adam Jacobs, Managing Director at The Iconic
  • Matt Von Der Muhll, COO of Unlockd
  • Vanessa Hunt, Head of Mobile – Australia, GroupM
