The big telco says this latest investment was driven by strong global growth in app downloads and usage, citing stats showing the number of mobile apps downloaded worldwide was 149.3 billion, and forecast to rise to 352.9 billion in 2021.

Manish Lachwani, chiuef executive and co-founder of Headspin, welcomed the investment from Telstra and said the company was expanding globally and into different industry sectors.
