ISACA gears up for big year marking 50th anniversary

Disruptive technologies over the last 50 years and in the future of business enterprise, and the evolution of technology careers will be the key focus of at the 50th anniversary events of the global ICT professional association ISACA this year, with the Oceania CACS to be held in Auckland.

ISACA board director and first CISO in the US White House, Brigadier-General (Ret.) Greg Touhill, will be a keynote speaker at the Auckland conference.

And ISACA says its growing Cybersecurity Solution Portfolio, including the CSX Training Platform and the CMMI Cybermaturity Platform, will be highlighted in new conferences in 2019, which will include events in North America and Europe.

ISACA also says the 2019 CACS conferences, set for North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Oceania region and Latin America, will offer educational sessions in audit and assurance, big data, risk management, governance and more.

For IT professionals in the Asia Pacific region, ISACA says Oceania CACS 2019 will bring together world class keynotes, panelists and delegates to share their expertise in cyber security, IT governance and risk and more.

“The theme of ISACA’s 50th Anniversary milestone, the conference theme will focus on the areas that have brought the industry this far: the BA*SI*CS: Business Acumen, Strategic Innovation, and Cyber Security. Held at the SKYCITY Centre in Auckland on 11-13 September 2019, the conference will attract a wide variety of local and international technology professionals from Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Asia."

ISACA bills the CACS Conferences as the premier events for audit/assurance, COBIT, compliance, risk, security, and strategy/governance professionals. Knowledge, tools and says strategies will be shared at all levels of expertise.
