Aia Software Saves Time and Improves Flexibility for Markinson ERP Users

Aia Software, a leading supplier of document automation solutions, has been chosen to enhance the flexibility and document composition capabilities of Markinson’s business software solution, Momentum Pro™.  Aia’s ITP (Intelligent Text Processing) Document Platform will be fully integrated, saving Momentum Pro users time and money while improving service levels by allowing them to create a wide range of customised documents.

Markinson CEO, Ian Whiting, explained that ITP provides additional benefits to customers using the document automation application within Momentum Pro.

'Our clients are major players in the import, wholesale and distribution sectors and have diverse requirements when it comes to producing supply chain documents like picking and packing slips, invoices, and credit notes, as well as a wide range of marketing and support documents,' he explained. 'By integrating Aia's ITP solution with Momentum Pro, we give our clients much greater flexibility and agility to create and tailor documents for specific clients, not only on paper, but also on fax and email.'

Markinson spent almost 12 months evaluating a wide range of products, including a detailed proof of concept, before deciding on Aia's ITP platform. 'ITP is easy to use, fully compatible with all the standard drivers, and enables us to empower our users by dramatically reducing the time and effort required to manage and change content. The fact that we could deal directly with the vendor was also critical.'

Mr Whiting said he was also impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism demonstrated by Aia Software during the sales process. 'We spent a lot of time talking with their solution architects and are very comfortable with its commitment to us as a customer. In all our dealings, Aia was highly proactive and worked with us in a very collaborative way. They clearly recognise that our success is their success,' he said.

John Kara, Aia Software's Managing Director of Australia, said the Markinson contract is a significant win for the company since it acknowledges ITP's superior functionality and usability. 'Considering the time and resources Markinson invested in this decision, we see this as a strong endorsement of our technology and are excited about its potential to open doors to a wide range of customers in the wholesale distribution market,' he concluded.

Active Vs. Passive DWDM Solutions

An active approach to your growing optical transport network & connectivity needs.

Building dark fibre network infrastructure using WDM technology used to be considered a complex challenge that only carriers have the means to implement.

This has led many enterprises to build passive networks, which are inferior in quality and ultimately limit their future growth.

Why are passive solutions considered inferior? And what makes active solutions great?
