Through those improvements to the recruitment and selection process it has ensured ease of access to jobs and accommodation to meet our candidates’ wide-ranging needs.
Twelve months ago Paxus was named a Disability Confident Recruiter, after achieving its Disability Confident Recruiter certification from the Australian Network on Disability (AND).
Certification as a Disability Confident Recruiter recognises organisations with recruitment and selection processes that break down barriers, and facilitate the inclusion and integration of people with a lived disability into the Australian workforce.
Paxus Managing Executive Jason Trevethick said “We have undertaken a number of initiatives to improve our recruitment and selection processes to ensure ease of access to jobs and accommodation of our candidate’s wide-ranging needs”.
“We are passionate about an inclusive workforce, and do everything we can to support candidates from all backgrounds to ensure they have access to opportunities that allow them to be successful in any workplace”.
“Our inclusive practices allow us to better support our clients’ diversity agendas, and promote a high performing and productive environment.”
Paxus is one of the first recruitment organisations to achieve the certification, highlighting its dedication and commitment to inclusive talent building in the workforce. Paxus has longstanding associations with Females in IT and Telecommunications (FITT), the Australian Network on Disability (AND), the Association of Professional Staffing Companies in Australia (APSCo), and the Project Management Institute (PMI), continuing to lift industry standards and promote best practice.
