CareMonkey delivers offline access, display, speed and user experience improvements with new version of its Android and Apple mobile apps

Melbourne, Australia, Thursday 2 August, 2018: CareMonkey – the world’s fastest growing cloud platform for online student medical records, forms and excursion management – has launched new versions of its Apple and Android mobile applications.

CareMonkey CTO and REA Group Co-Founder, Martin Howell, said that the new applications furthered CareMonkey’s commitment to empower teachers, youth group leaders, carers and service providers to access critical medical records for those within their care.

“Updates to our Android and iOS mobile applications strengthen CareMonkey’s position as the only provider of secure, reliable access to digital student medical records – even when offline,” said Howell.

“Improved data downloading capabilities not only boost download speeds, but also enable vital data to continue downloading in the background – even after exiting the app – to ensure anytime, anywhere accessibility.”

“Thousands of organisations around Australia and throughout the world – from schools, to sports clubs, youth groups and disability services – trust CareMonkey to fulfil their duty-of-care responsibilities,” said CareMonkey CEO and Co-Founder, Troy Westley. “With CareMonkey, you can access the most up-to-date medical and consent information possible; wherever and whenever it’s needed.”

Howell said that the updated mobile applications also delivered display and user experience improvements.

“Display enhancements include a new splash screen and better use of screen real estate for Android devices, as well as iPhone X support,” said Howell. “Increased app timeout limits also give users longer to submit forms or access information, before having to verify login details.”

The latest version of CareMonkey’s mobile app (4.7.13) is now available for download from Apple’s App Store for iOS devices and Google Play Store for Android devices.

CareMonkey’s mobile app requires Android 4.4 and Apple iOS 8.0 or later. The iOS app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
