Sirius Recruitment Group gives Azzurri’s SIP Voice 10 out of 10

Sirius Recruitment Group (Srg) selected Azzurri Communications and its comUnity managed services platform to improve their communications systems and gain the ability to scale their business up and down quickly. This also formed part of Srg’s overall IT strategy to move as many services to the “cloud” as possible.

Founded in 2003, the Sirius Recruitment Group (Srg) is a company of specialised recruitment businesses delivering talent to the Australian marketplace.

Srg were looking for a managed voice service that would allow their business to scale up and down quickly without large incremental capital costs. The provider needed to have proven support capability as Srg’s internal IT skills were limited and they did not want to manage the infrastructure. This formed part of Srg’s overall IT strategy to move as many services to the “cloud” as possible, including email and document sharing capabilities, so a hosted voice offering was preferred as long as a business grade service was guaranteed.

Srg had three key review criteria: cost, functionality, and quality of support and technical expertise. They selected Azzurri Communications and its comUnity platform because the company demonstrated a solid understand of Srg’s business and requirements, technical staff were very knowledgeable and explained points simply, plus the proposal and value proposition was clear and unambiguous.

“We were looking for a communications partner; a company who could provide a quality solution that was good value for money, who would handle all the management of the system and provide quality support, with Azzurri we have that,” said Stephen Smith, Srg managing director.

A key feature of the solution is SIP Voice technology. SIP provides a direct replacement for traditional PSTN services with improved flexibility and access to high-definition (HD) voice quality, geo-independent numbering and built-in disaster recovery.

According to Jon Evans, Azzurri Managing Director the benefits of SIP compared to a PABX makes a compelling business case, “Any mid-size company that is reviewing their PABX hardware and estate set-up should seriously consider an enterprise grade hosted Voice solution with SIP. The commercial savings are significant and on the operational side Azzurri’s hosted comUnity Voice service provides inherent disaster recovery, virtual business capabilities, reduced call tariffs, amazing voice quality, and a truly scalable service,” he said.

The comUnity hosted SIP solution from Azzurri forms part of a substantial investment by Srg in hosted technology solutions across the business providing the most up to date systems for servicing client needs.

“With the premium quality of hosted services available it doesn’t make business sense to own and store the hardware on site. At Srg we excel at recruitment services and don’t want to worry about technology and its management and administration. We have essentially outsourced the day to day monitoring to Azzurri and in doing so have gained a voice service that is second-to-none,” said Smith.

Srg now access ninety per cent of their technology via hosted services. With Azzurri’s comUnity communication platform Srg has hosted; WAN, LAN, internet, firewall, SIP voice service, and all network monitoring and billing. These solutions are in addition to the other hosted technology: recruitment tools, desktop and email, OH&S and payroll.

With Srg on a strong growth trajectory the ability to flex and grow the business as required is a key benefit of hosted communications. The current system can expand with the Srg business without the need for any new infrastructure or implementation project. Srg can have virtual offices with local numbers without the need to have a physical presence until it clearly makes business sense. With easy administration of new users and the additional cost at just $15 per user per month the business can make these decisions quickly and efficiently.

To add to the suite of hosted services Srg is also planning to include Azzurri’s video conferencing functionality. This would provide high quality collaboration across the Srg business and externally with clients, irrespective of location and device, ensuring even greater productivity.
