Okta Customer Identity Workflows helps automate identity processes across the entire software stack.
Developers can use low-code Okta Hooks to specify processes, and drag-and-drop tooling is available for non-technical users.
This makes identity actions completely programmable, and Okta Identity Cloud integrates Okta Customer Identity Workflows with disparate systems while ensuring demographic-specific, geographic-specific, and privacy-specific logic is in place, the company said.

Possibilities include provisioning and deprovisioning access to business-critical technology including custom applications; automating communication inside and outside of an organisation; and safeguarding data privacy compliance.
"Every interaction within the customer journey today is unique, with businesses needing to cater to a variety of users in a personalised way," said Okta chief product officer Diya Jolly.
"Okta has built an identity platform that is broad and flexible enough to suit each of these unique experience use cases. Customer Identity Workflows leverages automation to empower everyone in an organisation – from a non-technical business leader to a developer – to program how user identity flows to and from every piece of the customer journey. This is incredibly powerful for any organisation embarking on digital initiatives."
The first Customer Identity Workflow connectors are for Marketo, OneTrust, and Salesforce.
The Okta Customer Identity Workflows early adopter program is now open.
Okta Advanced Server Access improvements allow DevOps teams building in the cloud to integrate the Terraform infrastructure-as-code tool and similar with Okta's policy synchronisation and workflow automation tools.
"Digital customer projects have been dramatically accelerated, and those builds start with infrastructure," said Okta co-founder and CEO Todd McKinnon.
"Okta Advanced Server Access's centralised, zero-trust identity approach equates to speed for the DevOps teams tasked with building customer-facing projects. Ultimately, Okta Advanced Server Access makes it faster and more secure to build from anywhere with identity and access management at the heart of infrastructure access. We're pushing that platform-centric vision for Okta Advanced Server Access further through new features and integrations that meet today and tomorrow's scalability, security, and compliance needs."
Okta Advanced Server Access Connector for Workflows is available immediately. Okta Advanced Server Access Certified Hashicorp Terraform Provider, Session Capture for Linux, and PolicySync are available in early access form.
Okta Devices SDK provides developers with a mechanism for passwordless authentication through branded push notifications with biometric capabilities such as FaceID.
"We live in a multi-device world where we work, shop, and consume content across phones, laptops, and tablets," said Jolly.
"This dynamic landscape has placed an extra emphasis on today's modern businesses to be relevant across every device. The Devices SDK takes the customisability and security of the Okta Identity Cloud, and puts it in the hands of developers everywhere. There is no other SDK available today offering developers so much in a single integration."
This approach also makes it possible to register devices within Okta Universal Directory, enabling self-service when a device is lost or stolen.
The Okta Devices SDK for iOS and Android will be available in Early Access in 1Q21.
