CrowdStrike expands partner footprint in APJ following sustained customer demand

SaaS endpoint security vendor CrowdStrike today announced large increases to its Asia Pacific and Japan channel and partner programmes, continuing its growth in these regions.

Recently recognised by Gartner as the leading visionary endpoint security provider, CrowdStrike claims in 2017 it experienced significant expansion in its active partner base across Australia and New Zealand, and across Asia Pacific and Japan, as a direct result of customer demand for the company’s lightweight cloud-based security platform, which is claimed to rapidly protect from new threats without the traditional burden of pushing updates to client machines.

Today’s announcement sees CrowdStrike continuing to expand its footprint across APJ, tripling its channel team headcount, and making strategic appointments including additional hires to be located in Australia, India, Singapore and Japan.

CrowdStrike further announced it has more than doubled the roster of active partners, has seen a 500% increased in registered deals, and experienced a 350% increase in new business, across the APJ region.

Geoff Swaine, Channel and Alliances director, APJ, CrowdStrike, said, “The CrowdStrike Falcon platform delivers our customers and partners with the most effective endpoint protection on the market, along with best-in-class performance, efficacy, and efficiency. Our leading technology coupled with a commitment to deliver active enablement and training resources to partners have helped us drive explosive growth across APJ in the past year. We are excited to continue to strategically expand our partner footprint and relationships across the region to support customer demand and further build out our presence in APJ even further.”

Dane Meah, chief executive, InfoTrust, said, “As a specialised cybersecurity practice that combines best-of-breed controls with ongoing managed services, InfoTrust believes that CrowdStrike brings a game-changing approach to securing an organisation from cyber attacks. The endpoint has never been more relevant when it comes to effective protection from today's advanced threats, and our customers are looking for a different approach to the staid controls previously available. CrowdStrike’s innovative technology and services provide the differentiated offering that our customers are seeking. Leveraging CrowdStrike’s cutting-edge endpoint security capabilities, customers are able to gain a real-time view of what is happening in their IT environment, effectively stopping modern-day attacks.”

Ashok Prabhu, founder, director and chief executive, Valuepoint Techsol Private Limited, stated, “We’re seeing an increase in demand for cloud-based endpoint protection technology that is easy to manage and delivers on its promises. With its cloud infrastructure, CrowdStrike Falcon reinvented how endpoint security is delivered and offers a seamless solution that can be deployed in minutes and starts working immediately to stop breaches.
