Review - BlueAnt Pump Air Bluetooth earbuds

By

Australian consumer electronics and audio lifestyle brand BlueAnt has released what it says are the world's smallest true wireless earbuds, for high-quality audio during the toughest of workouts.

BlueAnt has released the Pump Air True Wireless earbuds, which it says is ideal for active lifestyle users. The earbuds weigh in at a tiny four grams each, and have Sweatproof IP54 coating meaning they will stick with you through the toughest activities. Being Bluetooth they're wireless and will work with your smartphone of choice whether it has a 3.5mm headphone jack or not, along with your tablet or laptop or PC.

The Pump Air also offers hands-free voice control, with Siri and Google integration so you can make calls and play music through familiar verbal commands.

The Pump Air is the smallest true wireless earbuds currently available, weighing at just four grams each, yet it does this without compromising audio quality. The earbuds are light and they are comfortable.

The earbuds are specifically designed for an active lifestyle, allowing users to listen, train and talk hands-free. The sweat proof coating allows people to train as hard as they wish.

The earbuds are available in black, rose gold and white and rose gold and very nicely they come with a charging case to deliver up to 15 hours of on-the-go use following a rapid one-hour charge. They include a built-in microphone for calls and voice control.

"We've maximised the quality of the new Pump Airs, so they're all play and no work. You just put them in, switch on your music and you have hours of uninterrupted listening," said BlueAnt founder Taisen Maddern.

"We've focused on the bass and audio quality with the Pump Airs, so the sound is richer and louder than anything else you'll find on the market."

In 2016 the company's Pump 2 headphones retailed in US Apple stores as the headphone of choice for the Apple Watch.

The new Pump Airs are available now with Bluetooth 4.2 technology, Sweatproof IP54 coating, a charging case, built-in microphone, and four sizes of ComfortSeal and three sizes of ComfortSeal Plus tips for a maximised secure, comfortable fit.

You can get your own from JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Tech2Go, with an RRP of $169.99.
