Mia Distribution inks deal with RingCentral

Australian unified communications value-added distributor Mia Distribution has signed a master agency agreement with RingCentral Australia.

The agreement expands on a partnership signed between the two companies in August for Mia to supply local hardware fulfilment and provisioning to support RingCentral’s cloud communications solutions.

“This master agency agreement is a key component of our enterprise communications solutions strategy for our reseller channel partners who want to offer their customers a more comprehensive Unified Communications as a Service or UCaaS solution,” said Matt Milne, Sales and Product Manager at Mia Distribution.

“With RingCentral, we are moving beyond just doing hardware provisioning by giving our resellers access to the leading UCaaS platform.”

Mia says it brings “unique value-added services” and focus on channel enablement in the telecommunications and Unified Communications (UC) space - enabling it to be “ideally placed to help rapid partner onboarding and provide extended support for its resellers in offering RingCentral’s cloud communications portfolio to their customers".

“Mia Distribution has great penetration in the local UC market, and has hundreds of active resellers in their community. RingCentral’s master agency model is the perfect way for Mia Distribution to deliver value to their resellers and, ultimately, the enterprises who will reap the benefits of deploying UCaaS solutions,” said Ben Swanson, Director of Channel Sales for Asia Pacific at RingCentral.
