Interactive Intelligence reaching out to SIs

Unified communications and customer interaction specialist Interactive Intelligence is formalising its arrangements with local partners.

While Interactive Intelligence has well-established relationships with local partners, the company is starting a formal program for systems integrators, chief marketing officer Jeff Platón (pictured) told iTWire.

The company particularly wants to become more closely involved with partners that work in the area of business transformation, he said.

This will broaden the engagement with customers from largely just the contact centre manager to also including the chief marketing officer and other executives, he said.

"We're trialling the program right now" with selected partners ahead of a global rollout, Platón told iTWire.

He added that the program has been in development for about 18 months, and one of the reasons for his visit is to evaluate the initial execution.

Interactive Intelligence's ability to maintain the identity and state of a customer contact as it progresses through the organisation means it can play an important part in workforce optimisation and business process automation projects, Platón said.

"Interactive Intelligence has an opportunity to take the leadership mantle."
