First Point partners with Stealthbits on IAM security

By

Brisbane-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions provider First Point Global has partnered with global data security company STEALTHbits Technologies to provide extended identity and access governance capabilities to its customers.

First Point Global founder and CEO John Havers, said that STEALTHbits ensures the right employees have the right access to the right information,  by developing solutions that identify and secure unstructured data – including documents, spreadsheets, videos, PowerPoint presentations – on enterprise networks, and integrate seamlessly with IAM solutions.

"The STEALTHbits relationship is key to providing extended identity and access governance capability to our customers," Havers said.

"STEALTHbits has been complementing and improving the success rate of IAM solutions for years, and they've been working with the leading IAM vendors very closely. The partnership between First Point Global and STEALTHbits fits like a glove."

Jonathan Sander, STEALTHbits Strategy and Research Officer says it is estimated that “80% of the data on a typical enterprise network is unstructured."

"More importantly, however, the highly sensitive information resides in that 80% - contracts, proprietary formulas, designs, financials, marketing plans, you name it.

“IAM solutions have a hard time managing access to all that information, and STEALTHbits fills that gap."
