Telstra advertising cranks up for business

By

Telstra's new advertising network business, TAN, launched earlier this month, is cranking up its operation with two new additions to its leadership team.

The head of TAN, Michael Padden, said 20 year sales industry veteran, Andrew Cordwell, had been appointed general manager of sales. Chris Parker has crossed over from Telstra-owned, Sensis, as general manager of commercial for TAN.

'Andrew has more than 20 years experience in sales with a focus in the digital media advertising and the media sales sector, in that time he has helped develop ninemsn and News Digital Media and has acquired a wealth of knowledge in digital sales across music, sport and social media,' Padden said.

Chris Parker joins TAN from Sensis Digital Media where he was national sales director. He previously worked in the media industry working with broadcast and digital media owners in Australia and the APAC region.
