TechnologyOne looks for graduates with their heads in the cloud

By

TechnologyOne is in the midst of a transition to the cloud, so it's looking for graduates with the right skills to help it with the journey.

The company has already begun its 2013 graduate recruitment drive, and the number of students registering interest has tripled on last year. That's fortunate, as TechnologyOne also wants to triple its graduate intake.

Vacancies will exist for developers with JavaScript expertise and other front-end skills, as well as for business analysts.

Executive chairman Adrian Di Marco said such employees would ensure the company’s future success. "For our cloud products to meet our very high expectations, they will have to deliver 100% of the functions our customers want in three clicks or less."

He added "it’s about making our enterprise software as simple and pleasurable to use as consumer apps."

The company has been working with Queensland University of Technology on the design of courses that provide graduates with the right skills, including software, business, reasoning, qualitative analysis, and tackling real world problems.
