Tom Stianos joins Inabox Group

By

Wholesale telecommunications services provider Inabox has appointed IT industry veteran and long-time SMS chief Tom Stianos to its board as a non-executive director.

Prior to joining Inabox Group (ASX:IAB), Stianos was 26-years with SMS Management & Technology, including as CEO for 13 years, before retiring last year. He was also a non-executive Director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA).

As CEO of SMS he grew company revenue from $83 million to $247 million between 2004 and 2010 with a 467% EBITDA increase from $6.7 million to $38 million.

In his 13 years at SMS, Stianos expanded the business nationally and internationally into Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam.

Stianos also previously held senior positions with the Victoria’s Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Justice, and the Department of Treasury & Finance.

Inabox Group Managing Director & CEO, Damian Kay, said: “Tom has a significant track record of success in improving company performance through leveraging emerging technologies. This is exactly the skillset we are looking for to build on Inabox’s innovation and current growth trajectory.

“In addition, Tom’s experience in leadership, M&A, and building partnerships with Australia’s leading corporations will be a valued complement to the Inabox board.”
