Rahim joins Telsyte as senior analyst

Technology analyst firm Telsyte has appointed Shayum Rahim to the role of Senior Analyst.

In his new role, Rahim, an IT professional with 15 years industry experience, will be lead for enterprise applications and big data. Most recently, Rahim was Director of Research, Asia Pacific at BigInsights, an advisory and research firm focused on big data analytics.

Rahim previously worked for JD Edwards, Oracle and Microsoft before becoming an industry analyst with IDC where he produced the first comprehensive study of big data adoption in the Australian market.

Telsyte Managing Director Foad Fadaghi said Rahim will bring a wealth of experience to a  growing enterprise ICT team.

“Shayum’s experience in big data and enterprise applications will bolster our growing team, helping us apply Telsyte’s in-depth, forward looking philosophy to some of the fastest growing areas in IT.”

Rahim joins a team of senior analysts at Telsyte including Steven Noble, Rodney Gedda and Alvin Lee.
