Global application development company, Progress, has appointed former CA Technologies, Oracle and HP senior manager, Trevor Rogers, as director of partner and alliance for its Australia and New Zealand business.

Rogers, who has more than 30 years of experience in establishing indirect sales channels for both existing and emerging markets, will focus on growing Progress’ ANZ channel and partner network as the company looks to expands in the local market.

Most recently, Rogers was partner director of CA Technologies and, prior to that, he was national channel and alliance manager for Oracle. He also spent 10 years in channel management at HP Australia.

“The appointment of Trevor is a great coup for the Progress channel and partner development efforts in the region. Trevor’s passion and reputation as a partner evangelist precedes him. Progress will benefit from his proven success in all aspects of driving a successful partner ecosystem, from strategic alliances including local, global and regional SI partners, through to solution providers, service providers, resellers, distributors and ISV partners,” said Craig Law, managing director of Progress ANZ.

Rogers said: “Partners are an integral component to the future growth and success of Progress as we enable companies to transform their businesses, and I will work collaboratively with them to engage their unique capabilities and skillsets to ensure a consistent business model that delivers a common ground of mutual success.”
