Netgear adds veteran marketing executive to Australian ARLO team

Bringing a fresh perspective and a new eye to Netgear's Arlo smart home security division is the highly respected former Samsung and LG marketing executive, Lambro Skropidis.

Top home networking and smart home security company, Netgear, has announced "its continued commitment to the APAC market, and introduced Skropidis as the senior marketing manager, APAC – Arlo".

Brad Little, vice-president and managing director of Netgear Australia, said: "We’re delighted to have Lambro join us at Arlo and to bring his many years of experience to our dedicated and growing local team.

“His appointment will help to sharpen our focus on Arlo activity in the market, and will assist us in delivering the most innovative, flexible and easy to use smart security solutions for ANZ homes and businesses."

Of course, Skropidis is no stranger to the marketing world, but is instead an award-winning marketing executive, having worked with some of the largest companies, as his LinkedIn profile explains.

In short, Skropidis has "extensive history in the APAC consumer technology sector, and prior to joining Arlo held the position of director – Product and Brand ANZ for Electrolux Home Products".

"He has also operated as the marketing general manager for LG Electronics in Australia, managing all marketing communications and corporate marketing activities in region, and has held senior marketing positions with Samsung Australia, Nestle and Colgate-Palmolive."

Skropidis commenced his role with Arlo in early June and will be based in Chatswood with the existing A/NZ Arlo and Netgear team.
