McGregor steps up at Check Point


Security vendor Check Point Software Technologies has promoted Craig McGregor to the role of channel sales director Australia.

"We are delighted to have Craig drive our channel sales team for the Australian market. His skills and experience are highly prized in supporting our resellers and managed security service providers achieve maximum success," said ANZ regional managing director David De Laine.

"At the same time, his knowledge and understanding of how to propel channel enablement for leading technology vendors will be highly advantageous in enabling our channel to deliver on purpose built security defence technology that helps to differentiate and add significant value to our customers, while simultaneously maintains partner profitability and rewarding performance."

McGregor joined Check Point last year as national channel sales manager. He previously served as Symantec's national partner manager for more than three years.

Earlier, in his two decades in the industry, he worked at Adobe as ANZ channel sales manager, at Microsoft as OEM manager Australia, at Sun Microsystems as systems integrator and ISV manager, and at Oracle as senior services account manager.
