Logicalis has appointed former Thomas Duryea senior manager, Michael Chanter, as chief operating officer for its Australia business.

Chanter, previously national general manager with Thomas Duryea — which Logicalis acquired in December 2015 — will lead sales, marketing and delivery across both the Logicalis and Thomas Duryea businesses.

And, Mark Rogers, chief executive, Logicalis Group, says the timeline to integrate the Logicalis and Thomas Duryea operations in Australia will be accelerated, with a view to bringing the “full breadth of the combined offering to existing and new customers”.

Rogers said the integration of Thomas Duryea into Logicalis is proceeding smoothly.

“We are now ready to bring the two organisations together to build a stronger customer value offering, a combined go-to-market strategy, and a strong collaborative business culture," he said.

“Our top priority is to nurture the immense success we see across so much of our business today, while building and growing a newly combined culture that evolves from the best of both teams."
