Lake joins the data science team at Complexica

AI software provider Complexica has hired Anthony Lake as its principal data scientist.

"I am delighted to announce the addition of Anthony Lake to our data science team," said chief scientist Zbigniew Michalewicz.

"Anthony's extensive background in analytics, modelling, and simulation will help us maximise the value Complexica delivers for its clients.

"Being incurably curious – and inspired by difficult challenges and driven by the need to know rather than guess – I believe Anthony will find himself right at home with us."

Lake joined Complexica from oil and gas company Santos, where he was responsible for business intelligence, data visualisation and analytics.

Earlier in his career he worked as a senior consultant at Glentworth, a solution architect at Queensland's Department of Communities, and in a number of roles at Queensland Health.

Lake holds a BSc in computer science and psychology from the University of Queensland.
