Janssen joins Genesys to lead Asia Pacific, Japan expansion

Contact centre solutions company Genesys has appointed former Oracle senior executive David Janssen as vice-president of professional services for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Genesys says Janssen will be responsible for bringing the company’s delivery and consulting sales teams together to help grow the business throughout the region.

Janssen was most recently with Oracle as senior practice director for Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this, he held a number of senior roles at Haley, PayGlobal, Technology One and SAS Institute.

Keith Budge, senior vice-president and general manager of Genesys Asia Pacific and Japan, said, in addition to providing expert counsel to customers and partners, Janssen will work closely with the senior leadership team to unify the services teams across the Asia Pacific, providing a seamless experience for Genesys customers.

“With over 25 years of local and global IT experience, David brings an incredible wealth of knowledge in technology and leadership to the table,” Budge said.

“At Genesys, we understand today’s digitally-driven ecosystem means customers demand a ‘now’ response that solves their queries effectively and efficiently. David will lead our expert team to deliver the industry’s best solutions to ensure our clients remain ahead of their competitors.”

Janssen, who will be based in Sydney, said he was most excited by the prospect of joining Genesys, “as it rises to a leader position in end-to-end customer experience solutions”.
