Jackson's in at Outbrain

Web advertising company Outbrain has appointed Nathan Jackson as APAC head of sales.

"Advertisers, publishers and technology platforms must work together to create a high quality and innovative online experience. I am confident that the combined experience and talent of our regional leadership team will allow us to further develop key partnerships in the region," said Outbrain's international managing director Alexander Erlmeier, giving Jackson a somewhat lukewarm welcome to the company.

Jackson joins Outbrain from Ticketek Australia, where he worked as supply director following a spell as programmatic sales manager.

He previously worked as partnerships and content director at Wine Selectors, ANZ sales director at Integral Ad Science, Australian business director at Adslot, and account manager at carsales.com.au.

Earlier in his career he worked for mytraining.net, Reed Business Information, Neverfail, and ASK Solutions.

"I'm thrilled to join Outbrain at such an important time for the industry," said Jackson.

"Outbrain has had many successes over the past few years and I've been keeping my eye on the company as it continues its upward growth and success.

"We have an outstanding APAC team and I look forward to working together to grow our relationships in this region and help brands connect with their audiences through Outbrain's smart native solutions."
