Brisbane-based performance management provider Ikara Group has appointed 30-year ICT industry veteran Mike Hicks as its director of product development.

Effective immediately, Hicks takes up the position at Ikara with 30 years of extensive technical and business leadership experience within the network and performance management industry.

He has worked in the ICT sector in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, focused on building high-growth, cutting edge products and solutions.

Most recently, Hicks held the position of senior product manager at Dynatrace and, prior to this, was regional technical director for OPNET.

He also held senior technical roles at the European Space Agency and the Ford Motor Company.

“I’m excited at joining the Ikara team at this time. As organisations undergo digital transformations, correlating seemingly disparate KPIs in order to produce a single business orientated objective that remains flexible enough to encourage continuous improvement for all parties is becoming a challenge, and Ikara is perfectly place to solve this,” Hicks said.
