Australian superannuation and wealth management consultancy, IQ Group, has announced the promotion of Craig Barrie to Principal Consultant.

IQ Group CEO Brian Peters said the elevation from Senior Consultant to Principal Consultant will see Barrie widen the IQ Group strategy-based delivery approach and “ensure the transfer of its unprecedented body of knowledge and experience to both consulting teams and customers”.

According to Peters, as Stronger Super and SuperStream implementations continue throughout Australia, IQ Group’s “innovative services leverage not only its expertise in the industry’s current structural changes but also the growing demand for consulting in areas such as integration and digital engagement with members and employers”.

“Craig has been with IQ Group for a third of its 15 year history and, as a trusted advisor, is a strong champion of our customer centred culture. Craig applies his substantial expertise to drive quality outcomes. He is an emotionally intelligent, practical and thorough consultant and this promotion is well deserved.”

Peters said Barrie is an active member of Superannuation Australia and will now play a greater part within the IQ Group senior leadership team, and Agility@IQ – “a catalyst for change through agile consulting, contracting and research”.
