Extreme says Compagnoni’s channel management role is primarily to help partners accelerate their success in building incremental business with the company’s technology solutions and services in the ANZ region.
Prior to Arrow ECS, Compagnoni - who is based in Sydney with Extreme Network - had a number of marketing roles at Tennant Company, an international cleaning technology manufacturer.
Extreme Networks also announced NetStrategy, the company’s only Black Diamond reseller in ANZ, as the first partner in the region to have three systems engineers achieve Purple Belts (gaining three qualifying technical certifications) through the ExtremeDojo training program.
Extreme Networks has also announced the promotion of three Australian partners to Diamond status:
- CompNow – founded in 1990, CompNow strives to stay ahead of the technology curve, exploring all new developments as an industry leader across all major platforms. With over 150 technically certified staff, CompNow is committed to delivering superior levels of expertise and experience to its clients – across support, service and engineering.
- Converged Communication Network Applications (CCNA) – through innovative design and business consulting, the implementation of mission critical applications is CCNA’s core area of expertise. CCNA delivers leading technology and business solutions within the enterprise, government, and carrier sectors throughout Australia and into Asia.
- Intuit Technologies – beginning life in Tasmania in 1996, Intuit Technologies is a national IT services operation focused on building the right ICT ecosystem for businesses across many industries, working with a multitude of vendors. Intuit Technology’s unrelenting belief is that the right ICT solution can engineer better business outcomes and it has the skills, access and networks to turn its clients’ ICT investment into a business strength.
“Extreme is a 100 percent channel-focused business and we continually invest in our partners and our capability to support them. Stefan brings strong distribution and channel experience to his new role as our channel manager, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the networking space,” said Julian Critchlow, General Manager, Australia and New Zealand, Extreme Networks
“He will be working closely with our key partners in ANZ, including our three new Diamond Partners. Congratulations to the teams from CCNA, CompNow and Intuit Technologies on achieving the highest level in our partner program!
“And congratulations also to NetStrategy, who has now achieved the highest Extreme technical qualifications in the region. Our local strategy is very clear; we recognise and invest in our high-growth, high-performing partners by giving them the attention and support that they need to gain market share and win more business with Extreme technologies and solutions.”
