LinkedIn has appointed Matt Tindale as country manager Australia and New Zealand. The seven-year company employee will have a dual role, continuing in his current position as head of Enterprise for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions in the Asia Pacific region while heading the Australia-New Zealand business.

Tindale replaces Cliff Rosenberg as ANZ country manager, who says he is leaving LinkedIn to take up a role as an adviser, investor and director with public companies and helping tech start-ups realise their full potential.

Rosenberg serves on the board of several organisations, including as non-executive director for ASX-listed Afterpay, Pureprofile and Nearmap.

Tindale joined LinkedIn in 2013 as head of the company’s marketing solutions business for Australia and New Zealand and in 2016, he took on a newly-created regional role as head of enterprise, Asia Pacific for marketing solutions.

LinkedIn says the marketing solutions business in Australia has grown 137% under Tindale’s leadership and he has been instrumental in expanding the business. He has also been an active contributor to the “LinkedIn for Good” initiative that supports charitable causes.

Rosenberg joined LinkedIn more than seven years ago to launch its operations in Australia and New Zealand in 2009, with the company claiming growth from one million members in 2009 to over eight million members currently, under his leadership.
