Canon has appointed 30 year imaging products veteran Masayuki ‘Mike’ Murase to the role of Senior Director, Business Information Solutions (BIS) for Australia.

Canon Australia announced on Tuesday that Murase has relocated to Australia after more than three decades of experience in the Office Imaging Products Group at Canon Inc across USA and Japan.

“Having witnessed the strength of the team at Canon Australia through my previous role at Canon Inc. headquarters in Japan, I’m excited to join the team locally,” said Murase.

“I look forward to working with the team to build on the excellent progress made to date as we support our customers and grow Canon Australia’s products and services.”

Akira (Dave) Yoshida, Managing Director Canon Oceania Group & Canon Australia said: “As a business, we strive to make technology as easy as possible for our customers and stamp out complexity, so they can focus on their business”.

“Having spent time in both our US and Japan offices, I’m confident in Mike’s leadership to help Canon Australia BIS achieve exactly that. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”
