Butler heads up Citrix Australia, NZ business

Virtualisation and cloud computing vendor Citrix has promoted long-term company veteran Erin Butler to the position of area vice-president of Australia and New Zealand.

Butler was previously Citrix chief of staff for Worldwide Sales and Services, and will focus on executing the company’s go-to-market strategy, and delivering consistent growth across all sectors of the ANZ market.

She joined Citrix in 2006 and has held various roles, including leadership roles in channel management, sales engineering, inside sales management and enterprise sales.

Butler will report to Colin Brookes, senior vice-president of Sales and Services for Asia Pacific and Japan, Citrix, who said Butler brings extensive knowledge, leadership and enterprise sales experience to the role.

Commenting on her appointment, Butler said: “Australia and New Zealand is a key market for the Asia Pacific and Japan region, and Citrix globally; there has never been a better time to be part of Citrix and I look forward to working with our partners and customers in ANZ.”
