Cloud communications provider Whispir has appointed Paul Bohannon as chief revenue officer.
"The CRO role is an important strategic addition to our global leadership team as Whispir moves into its next phase of growth," said founder, chief executive and chairman Jeromy Wells.
"In this position, Paul will help us meet growing international demand and ensure we can exploit all opportunities.
"Paul has been an integral part of Whispir's recent growth as we've doubled global headcount in less than 12 months and is the right person to help pilot Whispir into the future."
Bohannon's previous role at Whispir was that of executive vice-president for Australia and New Zealand.
He joined Whispir from Optus, where he was director of business development. Bohannon previously worked for Visionstream and Smartbill, and spent more than 20 years with Telstra, most recently as head of complex deals for Telstra Global.
