White, who joined Optus in 2006, will be responsible for Optus’ consumer mobile and fixed products, TV and entertainment services, brand and communications, analytics and insights and innovation.
The consumer team is responsible for overall product development, go-to-market execution, and customer base management in the consumer and small business segments of the market.
White will also have responsibility for Optus’ wholly-owned brands Virgin Mobile and Vividwireless.
Prior to joining the telco, White worked with a global strategic management consulting firm in North America and Europe.

With his extensive product and marketing background, Ben is well-placed to lead the next phase of our transformation starting with the launch of the English Premier League.”
White will be a member of Optus’ executive leadership team, reporting directly to Lew.
