Automation Anywhere appoints industry veteran as first chief strategy officer

Robotic process automation (RPA) company Automation Anywhere has appointed industry veteran Stephen DeWitt as its first chief strategy officer.

DeWitt DeWitt, with extensive experience in the IT industry, previously served as a senior executive for HP, Cisco, Symantec, and Sun.

And DeWitt was previously also CEO of New York-based WorkMarket, acquired by ADP in 2018.

Automation Anywhere says DeWitt, as chief strategy officer, will oversee internal corporate strategy, operational excellence and help expand external relationships with investors, strategic partners and customers.

In addition Automation Anywhere announced the appointment of another industry veteran, Riadh Dridi, as its chief marketing officer.

With more than 20 years of marketing, product management, category creation and sales experience with industry enterprise technology providers, VMware and HP, Dridi joins Automation Anywhere from RingCentral, where he served as chief marketing officer (CMO).

Automation Anywhere says that in his role as CMO, Dridi will lead the company’s strategy and execution of marketing efforts to expand its global reach.
