Technology and specialist recruiter Peoplebank has appointed 20-year recruitment industry veteran Brent Leahy as general manager Victoria in a move it says will further strengthen its position as a recruitment partner to Victoria’s Government, utilities and private sector organisations.

Peter Acheson, chief executive of Peoplebank, said Leahy brought strategic consulting strengths to the role and drew on the full recruitment toolkit of traditional tools and newer options including Recruitment Process Outsourcing, Managed Services Provision “and more, to match clients with the right skills for their business, regardless of project type or prevailing market conditions”.

Acheson said that in addition to his management and recruitment expertise, Leahy was appointed for his natural fit with Peoplebank’s culture.

“Peoplebank’s growth is based on creating a great place to work, where individuals fulfill their career aspirations while helping clients achieve their business goals. Brent fits naturally into this culture, with his positive, creative management style that inspires people to be their best self.”

“Brent is already a valued partner to many Victorian businesses who are seeking the best skills in the market.

“I am confident his leadership will help our Victorian team go from strength to strength, and I look forward to working with Brent into 2018 and beyond.”
