Gakovic takes local lead at Tenable

Tenable Network Security has appointed Gordon Gakovic as its country manager for Australia and New Zealand.

"Gordon has a proven track record of developing and leading highly successful sales teams, which is exactly the kind of leadership we need as we look to build upon our significant growth in Australia and New Zealand," said APAC vice-president Gary Jackson.

"This, coupled with his experience serving the regional market, will be instrumental as Tenable continues to invest in and expand throughout Asia Pacific. With Gordon now onboard, we're well-positioned to accelerate our momentum and bring innovative security technology to customers throughout the region."

Gakovic has worked in the IT industry for more than 25 years, most recently as ANZ managing director at Software AG.

He previously held sales director roles at Oracle and IBM.

Gakovic holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in computing from Monash University.
