Wallee Hand Strap keeps iPad on hand

A new case for the iPad features a camcorder-style hand strap.

A picture is worth a thousand words:

Wallee Hand Strap
The Australian-designed Wallee Hand Strap is made of anodised aluminium and wool felt, and keeps the iPad on hand without the user having to hold it.

"We know how precious the iPad is to our fans, so we wanted to design something that not only makes the most of its functionality, but also takes the risk out of carrying it around," said StudioProper founder Alon Tamir. "Many of our customers work in the retail, education and hospitality industries and use their iPads daily while rushing around to get the job done. The Hand Strap is perfect for them."

The $19.95 Hand Strap attaches to the $39.95 Wallee cases for the iPad and iPad 2. Other mounting options are available. Prices include shipping to anywhere in the world.

Why are passive solutions considered inferior? And what makes active solutions great?

Read more about these two solutions, and how PacketLight fits into all this.
