Another local Windows Phone app has been developed with support from Microsoft and Nokia.
It seems that every Windows Phone app we hear about was produced with support from Microsoft and Nokia, suggesting that those two companies are finding it necessary to 'buy' developer support for the platform.
The latest example is the free
Fox Sports Local app, which features venues showing pay-per-view events such as UFC and boxing as well as events on the main channels, along with game times, scores, news and statistics on live matches. It also includes social network integration.
"The Fox Sports Local app has been a successful innovation which has enabled Fox Sports venues to connect with patrons and fans to connect with venues like never before," said Fox Sports Venues head of commercial Ben Campbell.
"We are now delighted to announce that the app is available from the Windows Phone Marketplace."
